Check with your town for their specific requirements, however, at minimum, to ensure long lasting base for any 10' or wider shed, we provide a professional stone pad installation service at a reasonable price. We use is 3/4” crushed stone with stone dust, for a long-lasting, solid base that stays in place. The stone dust fills in the space between gravel pieces and compacted with a plate compactor for a very “tight” and solid foundation - meaning your shed will maintain level and doors aligned for many more years. We can also enclose the pad with pressure treated landscaping beams. Call today for a quote!
In addition to the stone pad, some severe angles that require a pad may also require a wood enclosure. We use 6x6 pressure-treated timbers to contain the stone at an additional cost depending on time, labor, and materials.
